Age 5 is the earliest I can remember drawing. He-Man, Thunder Cats, Voltron were all huge influences. When I was 8 I made my first books. You can view copies of them here.

By age 10 I was really into drawing and reading comic books. It started with Xmen, Spiderman, and Batman. And when I was 12 I started reading Image comics which eventually lead to Sin City, The Sandman, and other great books.

After high school, I enrolled in The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. It's kind of like a college for comic book creators. After a year at the Joe Kubert School I moved to San Diego and attended ITT Tech for a degree in Multi-Media. I also started freelancing as a graphic artist. And landed my first job as a professional when I was 24 at Big Guy Books.

I worked for Big Guy Books for 4.5 years. I worked on a lot of cool projects, and in 2007 I had my first book published, Eugene Stillwell Wants to Know!. It's kind of like a combination of a puzzle book and activity book. The Economic downturn was pretty hard on the publishing industry and sadly Big Guy Books had to postpone all future publications indefinitely. At the end of 2008 I was hired as a graphic designer and web programmer for Business Printing, which I am still employed at.
